🔸️ Saviour Lord who died for sinners! 🔸️
In a town, a father was that District Judge. Once upon a time, his son committed a major crime and was put on the Court for judgement! The judge sitting in front of him was his own father!! At the end of the case, he was sentenced to a fine of Rupees 5 lakh or 10 years imprisonment!! The son, hearing that, shed tears. The father, who was in the judge's seat, said "Son, even though I am your father, I am also a judge. You must pay your sentence" and he ordered the Court to disperse.
He took off his judge's dress in the living room; He then approached his son who stood at the criminal cage, in the ordinary dress, took a 'bank-check' from his bag and wrote to his son the amount of Rupees 5 lakh, which he had kept for the rest of his life. He put his hand on his son's shoulder with love and said with tears in his eyes "Son, here is your sentenced amount; you will be set free" and released him!!
Do you see! God is a Judge for "Judgment"! He is a father for "Love"!! How many people have realized this wonder of the Lord? Jesus did not die for Christians! He did not die even for the Hindus! He did not die for Muslims either! He... that Saviour Lord Jesus, died for sinners!! (1Timothy 1:15).
For many Christians who were born in Christian family, read the Scriptures properly, praying and going to church, but "salvation" is far away for them! They could not repent before the Saviour, considering themselves as "sinners"! They are losing their salvation as "Christian sinners"!!
Even a mother in this World, when she gives birth to a child, never says, "This child is born to die!" Instead, she says, "He was born to live." But in this Universe, there is only one child who was "born to die!" The Lord Jesus is the only one who made that incomparable sacrifice for man!! This sacrificial Lord Jesus is the only one who died for the sins of mankind, conquered death and rose from the dead!!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! For we, the sinners, You accepted the punishment of righteousness for us! We submit ourselves to your sacrifice; please save and accept us! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

இன்று "அவருடைய" சத்தம்
அக்டோபர் 18
🔸️ ஜீவனுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும் 'சிலரில்' நாம் இருக்க வேண்டும்! 🔸️
ஒரே ஒரு தடவைகூட பாவம் செய்வதைக்காட்டிலும், ஒரு சிறிய "சந்தர்ப்பவசமாக" தேவனுக்கு கீழ்ப்படியாமல் இருப்பதைக்காட்டிலும், தங்கள் கண்களை பிடுங்கி எறிவதற்கும், தங்கள் கையை வெட்டி எறிவதற்கும் ஆயத்தமாய் தீர்மானித்து நிற்பவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்! இவர்களே ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுவின் உண்மை சீஷர்கள்!! (மத்தேயு 5:29, 30). இவ்வித உறுதியான தீர்மானத்தோடு, எந்த விலைக்கிரயமானாலும் சிறிதும் தயங்காமல் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, சுயத்திற்கு மரிக்கும் இடுக்கமான வழியாய் நடக்கத் தீவிரிக்கும் ஜனங்களையே தேவன் இப்பாரெங்கும் ஏங்கித் தேடுகிறார். இவ்வழியாய் நடக்க ஆர்வம் கொண்டவர்களோ மிகமிகச் சிலர்! இயேசுவும் இப்படித்தான் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்தார்: "ஜீவனுக்குப் போகிற நெருக்கமான வழியைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவர்கள் சிலரே" (மத்தேயு 7:14) என்றார்.
இப்போது கேளுங்கள்:
"உள்ளிருந்து பேசும் ஆவியானவரின் சத்தத்திற்கு" எக்கிரயமானாலும் செலுத்திக் கீழ்ப்படியத் துணிந்தவர்களும் மிகச் சிலரே!
தேவனை தங்கள் முழு மனதோடும் உண்மையாய் நேசிப்பவர்களும் மிகச் சிலரே!
உலக ஆதாயத்தையும், கனத்தையும், அதன் இன்பத்தையும் உதறித்தள்ளி, தங்கள் ஆண்டவரின் அடிச்சுவட்டைப் பின்பற்றுவதற்கு அவைகளை வெறுத்து விட்டதினிமித்தம், அதை மிகுந்த சந்தோஷமாய் எண்ணிக் கொள்பவர்களும் மிகச் சிலரே!
தேவனுடைய பார்வைக்கு முன்பாக மாத்திரமே ஜீவித்து, மனுஷர் தங்கள் ஜீவியத்தை அங்கீகரித்தாலும் அல்லது அங்கீகரிக்காமல் போனாலும், அது தங்களுக்கு எந்த வித்தியாசமும் ஏற்படுத்தாது என அறைகூவி ஜீவிப்பவர்களும் மிகச் சிலரே!
நீதியும், சமாதானமும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் உண்டாகும் சந்தோஷமுமாகிய தேவனுடைய இராஜ்ஜியத்தையே எக்கிரயமானாலும், முதன்மையாய்த் தேடுபவர்களும் மிகச் சிலரே!
இந்த ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்ட "சிலரில் ஒருவராய்" இருந்திடவே நம் உள்ளம் நாடுவதாக!!

🔸️ ஜீவனுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும் 'சிலரில்' நாம் இருக்க வேண்டும்! 🔸️

"His Voice Today"

🔸️ We must be among the 'few' who enter into narrow gate to heaven! 🔸️
Blessed are those who are determined to lose out their eyes and their hands, rather than sinning even once and rather than disobeying God a little "occasionally"! These are the true disciples of the Lord Jesus!! (Matthew 5:29,30). God longs and search around the World for people with such determination, who will not hesitate to obey at any cost and who are determined to walk the narrow path of self-death. Very few are interested in walking this path! This is how Jesus prophesied: "narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to Life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:14).
Now listen:
Very few people are courageous to obey at any cost to the "voice of the Spirit speaking from within"!
Very few people truly love God with all their heart!
There are very few who reject the worldly gain, honour and its pleasures and hate them for following the footsteps of their Lord and consider it very happy!
There are very few people who live only before the sight of God and declares that it does not make any difference to them whether people recognize or do not recognize their life!
There are very few who seek it first at any cost, the kingdom of God, which is righteousness, peace, and the joy of the Holy Spirit!
Let our heart longs to be one of these blessed "few"!!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father! We came from the wide road and enter into the narrow gate to heaven; Give us the grace to be one of those 'few'! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

இன்று "அவருடைய" சத்தம்
அக்டோபர் 19
🔸️ முழுமையும் தேவனுக்கே வாழ்ந்திட வேண்டும்! 🔸️
"அவர்களைத் தண்ணீரண்டைக்கு இறங்கிப்போகப்பண்ணு; நான் அவர்களை பரீட்சிக்க வேண்டும்" (நியாயாதிபதிகள் 7:4) என தேவன் கிதியோனுக்கு கட்டளையிட்டார். அந்த பதினாயிரம் பேரும் தண்ணீரண்டைக்கு வந்தபோது, அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் தங்களுடைய சத்துருவைக் குறித்த யாதொரு எண்ணமும் அற்றவர்களாய் "குனிந்து, தண்ணீருக்குள் தலையை பதித்து, சுவைத்து சுவைத்து குடித்தார்கள்!"
இன்றும் அனேக கிறிஸ்தவர்களுடைய நிலை இவ்வாறாகவே இருக்கிறது. உலகத்தின் கவர்ச்சிகளைக் கண்ட மாத்திரத்தில், தங்கள் ஆண்டவரையும் அவருக்குரிய யுத்தத்தையும் மறந்துவிட்டு.... பொருளாசைபிடித்து உலக செல்வத்தைத் தேடி... தங்கள் தலையை கவிழ்த்து, அதில் பதித்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள்! அன்றைய தினம், கிதியோனின் வீரர்களில் 9,700 பேர் தகுதியை இழந்து போனார்கள்!!
எஞ்சியிருந்தவர்கள் 300 பேர் மாத்திரமே! இந்த புருஷர்கள் மாத்திரமே, தண்ணீரண்டை வந்தபோதும், எதிராளியை தொடர்ந்து கண்காணித்தார்கள்.... அதே வேளையில், தங்கள் தாகத்திற்குத் தேவையான தண்ணீரை மாத்திரம் தங்கள் கைகளால் அள்ளி குடித்தார்கள்.
உத்தம விசுவாசிகளாக சித்தரிக்கப்படும் இவர்கள், பணத்தையும் உலகப் பொருட்களையும் புழங்கினார்கள்; "ஆனால்" அவைகளால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்படவில்லை! தங்கள் வேலைகளில் உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாக இருந்து, தங்கள் ஜீவனத்துக்குரியவைகளைச் சம்பாதித்தார்கள். மீதியான தங்கள் நேரம் முழுவதையும் ஆண்டவருக்காக அவர்களால் என்ன செய்ய முடியுமோ அந்த ஊழியங்களைச் செய்தார்கள்!! "இத்தகைய ஜனங்களே எனக்குத் தேவை" என தேவன் உரைத்தார்.
அன்றைய சேனையில் 300 பேர் மாத்திரமே நிலைத்திருந்தார்கள்! முதலில் திரண்டு வந்த 32000 பேரில் இவர்களின் விகிதம் 1% மாத்திரமே!! அன்றும், இன்றும் இந்த குறைவான சதவீதமே நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.... ஏனெனில், ஜீவனுக்குப் போகிற வழி இடுக்கமாயும், அதை கண்டுபிடிப்பவர்கள் வெகு சிலராயும் இருக்கிறார்கள்!!
வாக்குத்தத்த பூமிக்கு புறப்பட்டு வந்த ஆறு லட்சம் புருஷர்களில் யோசுவா, காலேப் ஆகிய இரண்டு புருஷர்கள் மாத்திரமே பிரவேசித்தார்கள்! ஆகிலும், முழு இருதயம் கொண்ட "இந்த சிலரில் மாத்திரமே" ஆண்டவர் இன்றும் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்!!

"His Voice Today"

🔸️ Should live absolutely for God Almighty! 🔸️
God commanded Gideon, "bring them down to the water and I will test them"(Judges 7:4). When the ten thousand soldiers came to the water, most of them had no thinking about their enemy, "bowed down, dipped their heads into the water, tasted much and drank!"
This is the situation of many Christians today. The moment of seeing the wordly attractions, they forget their Lord and the war related to Him.... in pursuit of material desires and seeking worldly wealth... they stick their heads into it! On that day, 9,700 of Gideon's soldiers were disqualified!!
Only 300 left! Only these men, when they came near the water, constantly monitored the opponent.... At the same time, they drank only the water needed for their thirst with their hands.
Depicted as true believers, they handled money and worldly possessions; "But" they weren't controlled by it! By being faithful in their work, they earned what they needed for their livelihood. They spent the rest of their time by doing God's ministry, as they could for the Lord!! "I need people of this kind," God said.
Only 300 remained in the army on that day! Of the 32000 people who first gathered, their rate was only 1%!! This low percentage has remained the same then and today.... because the way to life is narrow and there are very few who find it!!
Of the six million men who set out for the promised Land, only Joshua and Caleb entered! Nevertheless, the Lord, even today, takes pleasure "only in these few" who love God with their whole heart!!
Prayer:

🔸️ Should live absolutely for God Almighty! 🔸️
God commanded Gideon, "bring them down to the water and I will test them"(Judges 7:4). When the ten thousand soldiers came to the water, most of them had no thinking about their enemy, "bowed down, dipped their heads into the water, tasted much and drank!"
This is the situation of many Christians today. The moment of seeing the wordly attractions, they forget their Lord and the war related to Him.... in pursuit of material desires and seeking worldly wealth... they stick their heads into it! On that day, 9,700 of Gideon's soldiers were disqualified!!
Only 300 left! Only these men, when they came near the water, constantly monitored the opponent.... At the same time, they drank only the water needed for their thirst with their hands.
Depicted as true believers, they handled money and worldly possessions; "But" they weren't controlled by it! By being faithful in their work, they earned what they needed for their livelihood. They spent the rest of their time by doing God's ministry, as they could for the Lord!! "I need people of this kind," God said.
Only 300 remained in the army on that day! Of the 32000 people who first gathered, their rate was only 1%!! This low percentage has remained the same then and today.... because the way to life is narrow and there are very few who find it!!
Of the six million men who set out for the promised Land, only Joshua and Caleb entered! Nevertheless, the Lord, even today, takes pleasure "only in these few" who love God with their whole heart!!

இன்று "அவருடைய" சத்தம்

🔸️ T.V. பிரசங்கம் நம் மெய் விசுவாசத்தை மங்க வைத்துவிடக்கூடாது! 🔸️
இன்று ஜனங்களுக்கு "பாவத்தை ஜெயிப்பதைவிட" "சரீர சுகமே" மேலோங்கிய விண்ணப்பமாயிருக்கிறது! இவர்களுக்கு ஆத்துமாவைவிட, சரீரமே எல்லாம் என ஆகிவிட்டது!! இந்த நிலைக்கு காரணம் "இன்றைய பிரசங்கிகள்" என்றே கூறலாம்! அதுவும் இன்றைய "T.V. பிரசங்கிகள்" அதிக கேடு செய்கிறார்கள்! அன்றைய விசுவாச வீரர்கள் "தேவனுக்கு எவைகளை இன்னும் அதிகமாய் கொடுக்கலாம்!" என்பதில் வாஞ்சையும் ஜெபமும் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்! இன்றைய தரம்கெட்ட விசுவாசமோ "தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து எவைகளை இன்னும் அதிகமாய் பெற்றுக் கொள்ளலாம்!" என்பதில் சரிந்து உருண்டுபோய்விட்டது! இந்த தரம் கெட்ட விசுவாசத்திற்கே "ஏராளமான விசுவாசிகள்" சபையில் சேர்கிறார்கள்!! இதினிமித்தம் இவர்களின் தரம் கெட்ட சுய-நல ஜெபத்தாலும்... முடிவில், இவர்களைக் கொண்ட சபையும் தரம் கெட்ட சபைகளாய் போய்விடுகிறது!! ஆ, இது துயரம்!!
T.V. பிரசங்கிகள் துரிதமாய் விதைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் இந்த "போலி விசுவாசத்திற்கு" எதிராய் நாம் "போர் முழக்கம்" விடுக்க வேண்டும்! அன்று மார்ட்டின் லூத்தர் கூறும்போது, "விசுவாசத்தினாலே நீதிமான் பிழைப்பான்" என இயேசுவின் இரத்தத்தினால் உண்டான பாவ மன்னிப்பையும், நீதியாகுதலையும் முன்வைத்து.... "இன்று நான் இந்த போர்க்களத்தில் நிற்கிறேன்!" என்றார். அந்தப் போர்க்களம் இப்போது முடிந்துவிட்டது!
இன்று நமது போர்க்களமாய் இருப்பதெல்லாம் "விசுவாசத்தினாலே ஐஸ்வர்யம், சுகம், சௌக்கியம்..." என்ற சீர்கெட்ட போலி விசுவாசத்திற்கே போர்க்கோலம் ஏற்றிட வேண்டும்!!
ஜெபம் என்ற மா வலியதோர் ஆவிக்குரிய ஆயுதம்... இன்று எப்படி எப்படியோ தேய்ந்து மழுங்கி சீர்கெட்டு நிற்கிறது! ஆனால், குழு ஜெபம்... சங்கிலி ஜெபம்... மாத ஜெபம்... இன்னும், எப்படி வகைவகையாய் பிரித்து, பிரித்து வைத்து ஜெபிப்பது போன்ற Method- 'வரையறைப்படுத்திய ஜெபங்களோ' ஏராளம் மலிந்து கிடக்கிறது! ஆம், இன்று "தேவ பக்தியின் (ஜெபத்தின்) வேஷம் - Form உண்டு! ஆனால், அங்கு வல்லமை இல்லை!!" (2 தீமோத்தேயு 3:5).
இந்த நிலை மாறி, "தேவனுடைய இராஜ்ஜியமும், வல்லமையும், மகிமையும்" (மத்தேயு 6:10) என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் வல்லமை நிறைந்த ஜெப வீரர்களாய் மாறிட, தேவன் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் அருள்புரிவாராக!
ஜெபம்:
எங்கள் பரலோக தகப்பனே! "மாயமற்ற விசுவாசத்தை" எங்களில் வைத்திட விரும்பும் உம்முடைய தூய வசனங்கள், இன்று T.V. பிரசங்கங்களால் கறைபட்டு "மாய விசுவாசமாய்" மங்கிவிட்டதே!! இந்த வஞ்சகத்திலிருந்து எங்களை காப்பாற்றும்!

"His Voice Today"

🔸️ T.V. Sermons should not fade our true faith! 🔸️
For the people of today, "physical comfort" is the predominant prayer petition rather than "overcoming sin"! For them, the body has become everything more than the soul!! The reason for this is the "preachers of today"! Today's "T.V. preachers" are doing more harm than good! The faithful warriors of earlier days had the longing desire and prayed, "what more can we give to God!" Today's non-standard faith has collapsed and rolled down in expecting "what more can we get from God!" For this non-standard faith "a lot of believers" are joining the church!! Because of this and their non-standard self-based prayers... in the end, the church with them also change into non-standard churches!! Ah, this is tragedy!!
We must raise the oppositions against this “false faith” that the T.V. preachers are rapidly sowing! Earlier, Martin Luther said, "By faith the righteous will live; today I stand on this battlefield!". He focused the preaching about the forgiveness of sins and righteousness through the blood of Jesus... That battlefield is now over!
Today, our battlefield must be against the corrupted false faith of "wealth, health and comfort by faith..."!!
Prayer is a powerful spiritual weapon... today it is somehow worn out and spoiled! But, group prayer... chain prayer... monthly prayer... yet, there are a lot of methods... plenty of 'defined prayers' like how to pray in different ways and means! Yes, today "disguise of devotion (prayer) has peculiar format! But, there is no power!!" (2 Timothy 3:5).
May God bless each and every one of us to change this situation and become mighty prayer warriors who will last forever "the kingdom, the power, and the glory" (Matthew 6:10)!

இன்று "அவருடைய" சத்தம்

🔸️ நம் சரீரமாகிய தேவனுடைய வீட்டில் பரிசுத்தம் வளர வேண்டும்! 🔸️
ஒரு சமயம் புகைப்பிடிக்கும் ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவரிடம் நான் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன். அவரிடம், "உங்கள் சபையில் அமர்ந்து நீங்கள் சிகரெட் குடிக்க முடியுமா?" என்று கேட்டேன். அதற்கு அவர் "அது ஒருக்காலும் முடியாது! ஏனெனில், சபை கட்டிடம் தேவனுடைய வீடு!" என்றார். அப்போது நான் அவரை திரும்பிப் பார்த்து, "சகோதரனே, உண்மையில் உங்கள் சரீரம்தான் தேவனுடைய வீடு (1கொரிந்தியர் 6:19). யாதொரு சபை கட்டிடமும் தேவனுடைய வீடு அல்ல!" என்றேன். மேலும், "நீங்கள் உரைத்துபோல், ஒரு சபை கட்டிடத்திற்குள் விபசாரம் செய்ய மாட்டீர்கள்! சபை கட்டிடத்திற்குள் ஆபாச இணையதளத்தை பார்க்க மாட்டீர்கள்! ஆனால், கிறிஸ்து உங்களுக்குள் வாழும்போது, உங்கள் சரீரம்தான் இப்போது தேவனுடைய வீடாய் இருக்கிறது. ஆகவே உங்கள் சரீரத்திலுள்ள அவயவங்களை வைத்து நீங்கள் என்ன செய்கிறீர்கள் என்பதைக் குறித்து மிகுந்த கவனமாய் இருங்கள்!" எனக் கூறினேன்.
ஆம், புகைப்பிடித்தல், மதுபானம் அருந்துதல், போதை மருந்து அருந்துதல் அல்லது அசுத்தமான எண்ணங்களை நம் சிந்தைக்குள் வர அனுமதித்தல்... ஆகிய யாவும் நம் சரீரத்தையும் நம் மனதையும் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாய் அழித்துவிடும்!!
கிறிஸ்தவ ஜீவியம் ஒரு பந்தய ஓட்டத்திற்கே ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது. நாம் பாவத்தைவிட்டு திரும்பி, மறுபடியும் பிறந்தவுடன், இந்த ஓட்டப்பந்தயத்தின் துவக்க எல்லையில் வந்து நின்று விடுகிறோம். பின்பு இந்த பந்தய ஓட்டம் துவங்கி, நம் ஜீவ காலமெல்லாம் தொடர்ந்து ஓடவேண்டும். நாம் ஓடுகிறோம்... ஓடுகிறோம்... ஓடிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறோம்! இவ்வாறாக, ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் பந்தய முடிவின் எல்லைக் கோட்டை நெருங்கி, நெருங்கிச் சென்று கொண்டே இருக்கிறோம்! ஆனால், நாமோ நம்முடைய ஓட்டத்தை ஒருநாளும் நிறுத்திவிடக் கூடாது!
இதுதான், இந்தப் பூமியில் நாம் வாழவேண்டிய மிகச் சிறந்த வாழ்க்கையாகும்! ஏனெனில், இதன் மூலமாய் நம் ஜீவியத்திலுள்ள கெட்ட பகுதியிலிருந்து கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாய் தூய்மை பெற்று... வருடங்கள் செல்லச் செல்ல, நாம் தேவனைப் போலவே அதிக அதிகமாய் உருமாறிவிடுவோம்!!

"His Voice Today"

🔸️ In our body, the God's home, Holiness must grow! 🔸️
Once I was talking to a Christian, who smokes. I asked him, "Can you sit in your church and smoke a cigarette?" To which he replied "It can never be! Because, the church building is the house of God!" Then I said, "Brother, truly your body is the house of God (1Corinthians 6:19) and I added "No church building is the house of God!" Further, I said to him "As you said, you will not commit adultery in a church building! You will not see pornographic websites inside a church building! But, when Christ lives in you, your body is the house of God. So be very careful what you do with your body parts!"
Yes, smoking, consumption of alcohol and drugs or allowing unclean thoughts to enter our mind... will destroy our body and our mind gradually!!
The Christian life is like a running race. After we relieved from sin and born again, we come to the starting point of this running race and have the halt. Then this race starts and keep on running for the rest of our life. We are running... running... still we are running! Thus, every day we are getting closer and closer to the end of the boundary line to complete the race! But, we must never stop our flow!
This is the best life that we need to live on this Earth! Because, through this, we are getting purified gradually from the bad parts of our life... As the years go by, we will get transformation more and more like God!!

🔸️ In our body, the God's home, Holiness must grow! 🔸️
Once I was talking to a Christian, who smokes. I asked him, "Can you sit in your church and smoke a cigarette?" To which he replied "It can never be! Because, the church building is the house of God!" Then I said, "Brother, truly your body is the house of God (1Corinthians 6:19) and I added "No church building is the house of God!" Further, I said to him "As you said, you will not commit adultery in a church building! You will not see pornographic websites inside a church building! But, when Christ lives in you, your body is the house of God. So be very careful what you do with your body parts!"
Yes, smoking, consumption of alcohol and drugs or allowing unclean thoughts to enter our mind... will destroy our body and our mind gradually!!
The Christian life is like a running race. After we relieved from sin and born again, we come to the starting point of this running race and have the halt. Then this race starts and keep on running for the rest of our life. We are running... running... still we are running! Thus, every day we are getting closer and closer to the end of the boundary line to complete the race! But, we must never stop our flow!
This is the best life that we need to live on this Earth! Because, through this, we are getting purified gradually from the bad parts of our life... As the years go by, we will get transformation more and more like God!!

இன்று "அவருடைய" சத்தம்

🔸️ முழு அர்ப்பணமே கிறிஸ்தவ ஜீவியம்! 🔸️
ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவன், தான் மனந்திரும்பி இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டவுடன் கண்டிப்பாய் "தண்ணீர் ஞானஸ்நானம்" எடுத்திருக்க வேண்டும். தண்ணீர் ஞானஸ்நானம் எடுப்பது, ஒரு திருமண சான்றிதழ் பெறுவதற்கு ஒப்பாகும். அதேசமயம், ஒரு திருமண சான்றிதழ் மாத்திரமே நீங்கள் பெற்றுக் கொண்டதால், நீங்கள் திருமணமானவர்களாக மாறிவிட முடியாது. இதைப்போலவே, நீங்கள் தண்ணீர் ஞானஸ்நானம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டால் மாத்திரமே "ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவனாய்" நீங்கள் மாறிட முடியாது!
ஆம், நீங்கள் மெய்யாகவே திருமணம் செய்து கொண்ட பிறகுதான், நீங்கள் ஒரு திருமண சான்றிதழைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும்!! இதற்கு ஒப்பாகவே, உங்களை முழுமையும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு கொடுத்த பின்புதான், நீங்கள் ஞானஸ்நானம் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியும்!! ஞானஸ்நானத்தில் நீங்கள் முழங்கும் சாட்சி என்னவெனில், "என் பழைய ஜீவியத்திற்கு நான் முற்றுப்புள்ளி வைத்து, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை என் ஜீவியத்தில் ஆண்டவராக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டேன்!" என்பதேயாகும்.
நல்ல கணவனும், மனைவியும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஏராளம் பேசிக்கொள்வார்கள்! அதைப்போலவே, நீங்களும் இயேசுவிடம் பேசி,... அவர் உங்களிடம் வேதப்புத்தகத்தின் மூலமாய் பேசுவதற்கு "ஒவ்வொரு நாளும்" நீங்கள் செவி கொடுத்திட வேண்டும்!! ஒரு நல்ல மனைவி, தன் கணவனுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சி தராத யாதொன்றையும், ஒருபோதும் செய்யமாட்டாள்! எதைச் செய்தாலும், தன் கணவரோடு இசைந்து செய்திடவே விரும்புவாள்! ஒரு மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவனும், "இயேசு பார்த்திட விரும்பாத சினிமாவைப் பார்ப்பது"... போன்ற கிறிஸ்துவுக்குப் பிரியமில்லாத யாதொன்றையும் செய்திட மாட்டான்! ஆம், அவன் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடு சேர்ந்து செய்திட முடியாத "யாதொன்றையும்" செய்திட மாட்டான்!!
இது ஓர் ஆச்சரியம் நிறைந்த அற்புத வாழ்க்கை! ஏனெனில், இவ்வுலகில் யாருக்கும் கிடைக்காத "தலைசிறந்த நண்பரோடு!" நாம் வாழ்கிறோம்!! நாம் ஒருபோதும் தனிமையாய் இருப்பதில்லை... ஏனெனில், ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு எக்காலத்தும், எந்த இடத்திலும் நம்மோடு கூடவே இருக்கிறார்! நம்முடைய பிரச்சனைகளை அவரிடம் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டு, அதை தீர்ப்பதற்குரிய உதவியையும் அவரிடம் கேட்டிட முடியும்.
இந்த ஜீவியமே மகிழ்ச்சி நிறைந்த ஜீவியம்! கவலையிலிருந்தும், பயத்திலிருந்தும் விடுதலை பெற்றிடும் ஜீவியம்! இந்த ஜீவியம், தன் முழுமையையும் ஆண்டவருக்கு அர்ப்பணித்தவனுக்கே உரியதாகும்!!

எங்கள் பரலோக தந்தையே! கணவன் மனைவி திருமண வாழ்விற்கு ஒப்பாக எங்கள் முழுமையும் கிறிஸ்துவோடு கலந்து வாழும் உத்தம ஜீவியத்தை எங்களுக்குத் தாரும்!
