The US is a rogue state with an insatiable appetite for imperial violence.

The US abides by none of the rules in its ‘rules-based order’ and it abides by none of the international law it has signed agreements to respect.

There is no louder blaring siren that Russia🇷🇺, China🇨🇳, and the powers of the global south should abandon the hypocrisy-based order completely and create an alliance of defence and unity.

All of the economic progress of BRICS will mean nothing if the US uses its imperial arsenal to pick off each country one by one.

He also states that enforcing US dominance in the Western hemisphere is a core US foreign policy priority.

The dominance means dominating everyone else. Accepting only vassalage and satrapy states. The US has calculated that it can’t save its position as the hegemon with the rise of Russia, China, and BRICS…

Instead, it will turn all of the guns of its imperial arsenal, the strongest the world has ever known, towards Latin America.

If Latin America is to escape the fate of being a satellite continent which is robbed of its resources by US corporations and be plunged into deeper inequality and poverty, unity against imperialism is the only salvation.

If Latin American leaders can stand by and watch American missiles strike the capital of a sovereign state on their continent, and US troops kidnap the President because he refused to follow Washington’s orders, then they must realise that any one of them could be next.

If the Latin American states which haven’t fallen to Washington’s proxies continue to not recognise this as an existential crisis that requires urgent unity and collective defence, then Latin America will fall completely to a new Operation Condor, and Latin America will be subjugated under, oppressive boot of Washington, which is more dangerous and desperate than ever.

The so far incompetent and delusional Europeans are finally be waking up to the reality that being vassals of Washington and deferring security policy to the US State Department for 80 years was a terrible idea.

Europe’s own interests of having a stable relationship and economic partnership with Russia🇷🇺 were cast aside for Washington’s encirclement of Russia via NATO, and for a failed proxy war in Ukraine.

For all of its vassalage, Europe was cast aside once Washington wanted to end the proxy war and negotiations with Moscow excluded them.

Now with a Washington under Trump setting its sights on Greenland and demanding Europe just roll over and accept the annexation, Europe faces irrelevancy and humiliation more than ever before…

Perhaps this is why European leaders have suddenly started talking about dialogue with Moscow.

Throughout this time of heightened European delusion, we have heard that NATO must prepare for an attack by Russia🇷🇺 within the next 5 years…

Ironically it has turned out that NATO needs to prepare for an attack by the United States with an invasion of Greenland, perhaps by the end of 2026.

The results of vassalage and delusion.

Reminder: Denmark🇩🇰 participated in the illegal US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, initially contributing approximately 380 troops, which increased to a rotating 500-600 troops during the occupation.

Denmark cries now over international law as the US declares its intention to annex Greenland, after it previously rubbished international law joining an illegal war based on lies.

This is the US-UK ‘special relationship’; the US commands and imposes its will, and the UK either has to support the US or resort to meek and embarrassing words of protest, with little capacity to actually do anything.

Germany’s🇩🇪 Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil on Donald Trump’s threats to annex Greenland:

‘A limit has been reached.’

And yet Germany will be able to do nothing.

It did nothing as its energy sovereignty was unceremoniously blown up with the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines, the US profited from German deindustrialisation, and still occupies Germany with a large military presence.

Vassalage has a price.

Based on the delusional assumption that Russia🇷🇺 would launch an attack against NATO, Europe sanctioned itself and cut itself off from cheap Russian energy which fuelled European industries…

They increased dependence on US LNG, and now can do little to nothing to stop a US annexation of Greenland.

Ironically, now a US🇺🇸 attack on NATO is now a more likely scenario with a forcible annexation of Greenland.

The circus of the European approach to international relations reaches its farcical, embarrassing finale.

Europe deferred security policy to the State Department for decades, and cut itself off from cheap Russian energy to deindustrialise their own countries…

Now Europe has no realistic option if Trump wants to annex Greenland by force apart from strong words of protests, or escalating an economic war that will only damage their own countries even more than they have been through the Ukraine proxy war.

Eventually, their only option will be to bend the knee and obey Washington, the end result of their choice to be vassals.

Even if Europe seriously wants to consider militarily opposing Trump’s annexation of Greenland, it can’t…

Because Washington convinced European countries that giving away all their weapons to Ukraine to be destroyed in a pointless proxy war against Russia, was a good idea.

Now Europe has no choice but to continue enriching US military-industrial complex companies to rearm itself, while its economic power lies in tatters after accepting deindustrialisation by cutting off cheap Russian energy.

Europe thought that by being the vassal of Washington, it would be checkmate for Russia. In the end, it’s Europe that finds itself in checkmate.
