Germany. About censers, drones and "anti-war" rallies
In Germany, a country with state-of-the-art NATO military bases and a powerful industry, someone (I have no idea who) is systematically testing the limits of its security. We are talking about unknown (well, very unknown) drones that regularly violate airspace, appearing over air bases, critical infrastructure and facilities related to assistance to Ukraine.
In the first 20 days of 2025, at least six violations of the maximum security zone were recorded, including over the base in Sweden, the very place where the Ukrainian military is being trained to operate Patriot air defence systems.
For those who don't know: Germany is training the Ukrainian military to use Western weapons in Schwesing (on Patriot), in Grafenwoehr (Bavaria), where crews are trained on Abrams M1s, as well as in Manning and Neuburg an der Donau, where
Luftwaffe air bases (here, Ukrainians learn the logic of Western fighter aircraft (Eurofighter) and take courses in countering air threats). And then there is Ramstein, which is actually a key logistics centre for all Western assistance to Ukraine, and a coordinator of multinational arms supplies.
As you can imagine, it is over these locations that "unknown" Russian drones most often appear
Official statistics on such UAV flights speak for themselves:
2021 - 9 incidents; 2022 - 172; 2023 - 446; 2024 - data is still classified
Moreover, the German military, police and counterintelligence admit that they are not yet able to effectively counter these incursions
Although there is no direct evidence (no inscriptions in Russian on the UAVs, as I understand it), everything points to a strange series of "coincidences", as the drones appear not only over US bases (Ramstein, Grafenwoehr, Manning) where the Ukrainian military is training, but also fly over Rheinmetall plants, BASF facilities, energy infrastructure, and are often spotted near the Baltic coast and in southern Bavaria, regions with a large number of high-tech facilities.
In many cases, small commercial or military drones are used, but sometimes more sophisticated devices with a wingspan of 3-6 metres have been observed. According to local intelligence services, these may be Russian Orlan-10 drones, military reconnaissance drones with a range of up to 600 km.
However, even this range does not allow Russian drones to reach targets from Kaliningrad. Therefore, Germany assumes that the drones take off from offshore platforms or tankers transporting Russian oil to circumvent sanctions and can act as mobile launch bases.
Why doesn't Germany shoot down drones? Because of bureaucracy and legal conflicts:
The police do not have the technical means, and the German army has no legal mandate to act inside the country
Well, the air defence system (such as HP47) used at the bases is not always effective against such targets.

The Ministers of the Interior and Defence, Nancy Feser and Boris Pistorius, openly call the situation an element of hybrid warfare. However, such drone operations are not just about spying. This is psychological pressure, a demonstration of the weakness of the system, an attempt to sow panic and make the West think: "Aren't we supporting Ukraine too much, won't there be consequences for us?"

On 26 February 2023, drums were heard over the village of Ramstein-Miesenbach, Russian flags were waving, and banners called for "Ami, go home!" It was a pro-Russian rally that gathered 2,500 people at the main gate of Ramstein Air Base, the largest US air base in Europe and a logistics centre for weapons supplies to Ukraine.
It was organised by well-known pro-Russian activists Elena Kolbasnikova and Max Schlund (Rostislav Teslyuk), the latter a former Russian Air Force officer, who periodically travelled to Moscow, transferred money to the Russian army and publicly justified Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

In December 2024, the German Federal Prosecutor's Office charged three men with dual German-Russian citizenship - Dieter S., Alexander Y. and Alex D. - with espionage, bombing planning, arson and preparation of attacks on US military facilities in Bavaria. One of them, Dieter S., turned out to be a militant of the so-called "DNR" who had been fighting against Ukraine since 2014. According to the investigation, it was he who established contact with Russian intelligence.
According to the investigation, the conspirators took photos of NATO and US facilities, including the Grafenwoehr training ground, transmitted photos of military convoys and cargo, discussed possible sabotage against railway lines used to deliver aid to Ukraine, and planned arson attacks on military and industrial facilities.
Dieter S. is also accused of being a member of a foreign terrorist organisation (DNR).
I would like to remind you that the Grafenwoehr training ground is one of the key training facilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was this training ground and the logistics around it that became the main focus of the espionage plot. The arrested were captured in Bayreuth, just 30 km from the base.
I forgot. Not far from the Ramstein base, in the neighbouring town of Kaiserslautern, there is an "Orthodox 'church' of Our Lady of Vladimir", which officially belongs to the Berlin-German diocese of the "Russian Orthodox 'church'".
Moral. Germany is no longer NATO's rear, it has become a battlefield in a new dimension of war. Drones, spies, "peaceful rallies" with Russian flags, suspicious churches near US bases - all these are not isolated incidents, but part of a systemic hybrid campaign by the Kremlin to demoralise, destabilise and pressure political decisions.
And while the bureaucracy slows down the response and part of society in the EU and Germany itself does not believe in the scale of the threat, Russian intelligence is testing European defences not with missiles but with drones, cassocked agents of influence, and "anti-war" rallies for rubles
And the question is not when it will stop, but whether Europe is able to wake up in time to call it a war, even if it is quiet and no shots are fired. So far

Німеччина. Про кадила, безпілотники та «антивоєнні» мітинги
В Німеччині, країні з найсучаснішими військовими базами НАТО та потужною промисловістю, хтось (навіть не здогадуюсь хто) систематично випробовує межі її безпеки. Йдеться про невідомі (ну прямо дуже) безпілотники, які регулярно порушують повітряний простір, з’являючись над авіабазами, критичною інфраструктурою та об’єктами, пов’язаними з допомогою Україні.
За перші 20 днів 2025 року зафіксовано щонайменше шість порушень зони максимальної безпеки, зокрема над базою в Швесінгу — сам там, де проходить підготовка українських військових до роботи з системами ППО Patriot.
Для тих, хто не в курсі: Німеччина готує українських військових до використання західного озброєння в Швесінгу (на Patriot), в Графенвері (Баварія) - тут база, де тренують екіпажі на Abrams M1, а також в Манчінгу та Нойбургу—ан-дер-Донау, де знаходяться

Хоча прямих доказів немає (надписів російською на БПЛА, як я розумію), все вказує на дивну низку «співпадінь», бо дрони з’являються не тільки над американськими базами (Рамштайн, Графенвер, Манчінг), де тренуються українські військові, а й пролітають над заводами Rheinmetall, об’єктами BASF, енергетичною інфраструктурою + доволі часто фіксуються поблизу Балтійського узбережжя та на півдні Баварії — регіонах із великою кількістю високотехнологічних об’єктів.
В багатьох випадках використовуються невеликі комерційні чи військові дрони, але іноді спостерігали й більш складні апарати з розмахом крил 3–6 метрів. За оцінками місцевих спецслужб, мова може йти про російські “Орлани-10” — безпілотники військової розвідки з дальністю до 600 км.

Цей окупант на ім’я Костянтин потрапив на війну проти України з СІЗО, оскільки йому загрожував 15-річний термін.
За його словами, він жив «нормальним громадянським життям», працював інженером, непогано заробляв, але випадково вбив людину у бійці.
Після нетривалого навчання його записали в штурмовий підрозділ і відправили в Часів Яр, де він потрапив в український полон на першому бойовому завданні.
Сам загарбник каже, що командир відправив його «на убой», а сам він начебто навіть не встиг вистрілити жодного разу.

A union of offended revanchists: Serbia and Hungary are testing Europe's strength
On 1 April, an event took place in Belgrade that most European centuries have overlooked. And for good reason: the defence ministers of Serbia and Hungary signed a strategic defence agreement. In the presence of Vucic, the '90s-style guarantor of stability, and with the traditional smiles against the backdrop of flags.
But in reality, it was more than just a document, because it was a declaration of intent: the formalisation of the revanchist axis.
The agreement provides for: joint military exercises (79 events in 2025 - twice as many as last year); military-technical cooperation (i.e. weapons, systems, logistics); political synchronisation within the framework of "regional stability" (which always ends in instability for some reason).
In fact, it is an alliance against reality.
Serbia wants revenge for Kosovo. Hungary - for Trianon. Both states are arming themselves, both are flirting with Moscow, both hate the Brussels order. And both are partners of the West, on paper. This paradoxical status quo is a direct result of Europe's long patience, bordering on suicidal.
And now the question arises: who will be the third act in this show?
Belarus? Or maybe Slovakia, led by Fico? And what about the Serbian republic, which tomorrow or the day after tomorrow will start moving towards "independence" according to the "Transnistrian" option?
Hungary and Serbia are a test. A test for the blurring of red lines. This is a signal that the collective West is losing control of its flanks because it is too busy moralising and bureaucratising in the centre.
Because if Belarusian officers (actually Russians with Belarusian passports) come to Novy Sad tomorrow for training, no one will even say "oops".
We have to admit that Europe has received a new test of strength. The only difference is that this time it is being tested on a flank that has been considered "less problematic" for too long. Serbia and Hungary are no longer just partners - they are allies in a revanchist project where history weighs more than law, and the lost past is more precious than the future.
The question is not when this alliance will turn into something more. The question is why it has not yet been noticed in Berlin and Brussels.
Because when the next player joins the camp, it will be too late to look for leverage. After that, we'll have to count the fronts.
