Singapore will impose export restrictions on items that can be used directly as weapons in Ukraine to inflict harm or to subjugate Ukrainians.

Singapore will also block certain Russian banks and financial transactions connected to Russia.

Specific measures are being worked out, and these sanctions will be announced shortly.

Ukraine & Russia have agreed to hold talks at the Belarus-Ukraine border.

The Ukrainian delegation will meet with the Russian one without preconditions on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, near the Pripyat River.

All aircraft, helicopters and missiles stationed on Belarusian territory will remain on the ground.

The venue is ‘ready’, according to local authorities.

US President Joe Biden has addressed Russian President Putin, saying he has 'no idea what's coming', and promised to 'inflict pain'.

US President Joe Biden also announced closing US airspace to all Russian flights, saying that Moscow will be weaker by the end of its war against Ukraine.

He also pledged to penalise wealthy elites in the Russian president’s inner circle.

However, US Forces will not engage in conflict with Russia in Ukraine, but will defend "every inch" of NATO territory if Putin moves west.

Three hours after the ceasefire was supposed to begin, authorities announced they had postponed a planned mass evacuation because of the continued shelling.

All primary and secondary schools in Singapore will phase out mid-year examinations by 2023.

Schools can choose to remove the mid-year exams for any of the remaining levels this year.

"They use ongoing assessments to identify what students have mastered and the areas they have difficulties with. Students also focus more on their learning and less on marks," Mr Chan Chun Sing added.
