From January next year, higher school fees for permanent residents and international students will take place. Fees for Singaporeans will not change.

Monthly school fees will increase by S$25 to S$60 for permanent residents. For international students, if will increase S$25 to S$15 each year.

Miscellaneous fees are unchanged.

The Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine will be included in the national vaccination programme. 3 doses are required for people unable to take any mRNA jabs.

The second dose should be taken on day 28 and the third 90 days after the second. Head over to the Raffles City Vacccination center or any of the 11 PHPC clincs to get the dose.

Restrictions could be eased if weekly COVID-19 cases fall.

Such eased measures could be household members dining-in in groups of 5, team sports being allowed.

Mr Wong said that if the weekly infection rate drops below 1 and the situation at hospitals remains stable, the task force will consider some “calibrated” easing of measures.

From 1 Jan next year, only fully vaccinated staff or those recovered from Covid-19 within the past 270 days will be allowed in the workplace.

MOM: Sacking unvaccinated staff isn’t wrongful if they can’t perform their job at work.

Alternative options include:


- Allow them to continue in the existing job with PET.
- Redeploy them to suitable jobs which can be done from home.
- Place them on no-pay leave.

Special consideration for unvaccinated employees who are medically ineligible should be made.

Under a new housing model, future HDBs built in prime locations will be subject to a 10-year MOP and additional subsidies will be clawed back upon their resale.

These flats will be priced with additional subsidies, but those who sell their BTO units will have to pay back HDB a percentage of the resale price.

4 children have been found to have inflammatory syndrome linked to COVID-19.

The condition, called paediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome-Covid (MIS-C).

Symptoms of MIS-C include a persistent fever above 38.5°C for three days or more, with difficulty breathing, headache, neck swelling, rash, swollen hands and feet, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, or abdominal pain.

5 fully vaccinated people will be allowed to dine in from Wednesday at F&B Outlets.

Group sizes at hawker centres and coffee shops will remain at 2 fully vaccinated people, as they are unable to conduct comprehensive vaccination checks.

In addition, F&B outlets will also be allowed to play "soft recorded music" from Wednesday, but live music and entertainment remain banned.

From Dec 8, those who are unvaccinated by choice and contract COVID-19 will have to pay their own medical bills if they are admitted to hospitals or treatment facilities.

Currently, unvaccinated persons make up a sizeable majority of those who require intensive inpatient care, and disproportionately contribute to the strain on our healthcare resources.

If you cannot take the vaccination due to medical reasons or age, your bill will still be fully subsidised.

The COVID-19 expert committe will make a reccomendation on if the Pfizer vaccine can be given to children aged 5 to 11, later this month.

The CDC and the FDA in America has reccomended the vaccine for the respective age group.

Pfizer reccomends children aged 5-11 take a third of the full adult dosage. They will still get two separate doses.

Here is a full summary of what was annouced today.

1) Up to 2 unique household visitors a day will be allowed.

2) 5 Fully vaccinated people can dine in at F&B outlets, all people must be from the same household.
However, this rule will remain unchanged for Hawker Centers and Coffee shops.

3) Soft recorded music permitted.
This music cannot be live.

4) 2 meter safe distancing between individuals for indoor high intensitvity classes.
This can include excersise classes etc.

5) Unmasking will be allowed for up to 10 people engaged in public speaking, with safe distancing.

6) Zones of up to 100 atteneddees will be allowed for MICE/Worship events etc.
2 meters of separation between each zone will be needed, and a 2 meter safe distance between performers and the audience.

KAWS:Holiday has been ordered by court to stop its exhibition at Marina Bay after an accusation of breaching intellectual property rights.

The Ryan Foundation (TRF) - had already went to Hong Kong in 2019 to discuss with the organisation the possibility of holding the exhibition in Singapore, and had handed over certain contents and details.

However, although negotiations broke down eventually, the contents of the exhibition today were allegedly similar to what TRF sent over in the past.
