If you show COVID-19 symptoms, go to a doctor. Do not use ART test kits if you show symptoms of COVID-19.

Even if you do not exhibit minor symptoms, do not ignore it.

You are advised to self test regularly.

From Sep. 27 to Oct. 24, all carpooling services, such as GrabHitch & RydePool will be suspended.

Operations for GrabCar and other private hire car services will no be shut down, but a 2 passenger limit for taxis & private hire cars (PHC) will be implemented.

You can take national exams (PSLE, O Levels etc) if you are on quarantine or approved Covid-19 absence, but will be subject to stringent criteria.

Some of the measures:

- Students have to test negative for Covid-19 with a PCR test at the start of the QO, and test negative for an ART within 24 hours before each paper.

- Travel to the exam venue must be by private transport or on foot. No stops should be made.

- The rooms used will be separate and will be cleaned throughly.

- Designated entry and exit points and social distancing will be in place.

- Students will start the exams 30 minutes after the scheduled start time for the rest of the cohort.

Temasek Foundation has extended the free N95 & surgical masks collection period up till 3rd October at selected CapitaLand Malls.

The Malls are:

The total population of Singapore has declined by 4.1%, to around 5.41 million people.

Previous population falls were in 2020 (0.3%) and 1986 (0.1%). A large part of this 4.1% was from the non-resident population, which was 1.47 million in June.

Seniors aged 60 and older, and those who live with them, are strongly advised to stay at home for the next 4 weeks, due to the worsening COVID-19 situation in Singapore.

Seniors are encouraged to get booster shots, if not their first/ second dose.
Overseas fans for the Bejing 2022 Olympics will not be allowed.

Athletes, officials and workers that are not fully vaccinated will also have to go through 21-day quarantine.

Children will likely get their vaccines next year - PM Lee

"Singapore is closely tracking the progress of vaccine trials on children in the United States and will start vaccinating children as soon as vaccines are approved for them, and Singapore’s experts are satisfied that they are safe."

MOH will conduct another round of ART Kits distribution to households, as self testing will become the new norm.
More VTLs will be introduced with Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, UK, Canada and the USA.

Applications open on the 12 Oct, and the first travellers will be allowed in on the 19th.

Electricity Retailer iSwitch will end its operations on Nov. 11, 2021.

Around 90,000 of its customers will have their accounts transferred to SP Group, however they have the choice to opt for another retailer.

iSwitch said this was "due to current electricity market conditions".

He was fully vaccinated.
