Prize fund: $50,000 or more
Deadline: 23:59 Dubai time @ December 15, 2025
Who can participate: Everyone
THE TASK
Design a concept for Telegram Nodes entirely from the ground up, while preserving the familiar components of Telegramβs interfaces. It must feel seamless and aesthetically compelling while remaining clear and intuitive for users.
Nodes act as separate instances within the app that help users organize and streamline their communication flows β from personal to work. Nodes go far beyond simple chat folders or groups with topics enabled.
You may think of them as Discord-like servers or Slack-style workspaces that can contain multiple chat types, including voice and video chats, support in-depth admin management and user roles.
Users who join Telegram Nodes can set a profile picture, bio, and name that differ from their main account. They can then switch between Nodes and their main Telegram inbox β for example, via the left-side menu, which lists all their Nodes alongside any other Telegram accounts theyβre logged into.
Your submissions must include:
1. A complete set of mockups for both the Android and iOS versions of the Telegram app.
2. A demo video for either platform in the same manner as the demonstrations from the Telegram Blog.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
β’ Clarity and usefulness are mandatory β everything must feel immediately understandable to users, leaving no room for confusion.
β’ Thoughtful feature engineering β the design should reflect an implementation-ready concept.
β’ All sides must be considered β you must deliver both the user and admin flows.
β’ A well-thought entry point and clear Nodes management are essential.
β’ Support for both day and night themes is mandatory.
Submission Format:
1) The layouts can be implemented as static .png files. For the animation demos, use .mp4 format (without sound).
Source files and properly structured Figma projects are also welcome.
2) For included videos, you must also provide several static .png images from each video that serve as a storyboard.
3) If you use complex animated icons, they must be in lottie json or .tgs format.
Further submission instructions will be announced closer to the deadline.

The gap between βwhat ifβ¦?β and βlook, it works!β has never been smaller, and that changed how we build features in Telegram.
Message @designers to submit your concepts.
β Working, ready-to-implement code
complemented by
β A demo video of your feature in action
β Static mockups
β Demo videos with no code behind them
β Text-only concepts
No coding background? Curiosity, attention to detail and a good prompt will take you far.
The future of design isnβt drawn β itβs built.
(An example of what is possible by our iOS designer β this is a ready to use implementation not a motion video.)

We've all been in situations where we've received long voice messages. Maybe your manager dictated a bunch of tasks, a friend shared a story, or a classmate sent a lecture recording. And often, you need to do more than just listen β you need to find something important, jot down a thought, or respond to something that was said.
And that's where things get frustrating. You replay the voice message, skip back and forth, trying to remember where something specific was mentioned. And when you want to respond to a particular moment, you have to explain exactly what you're referring to.
Transcription partially solves this problem. But simply having the text isn't enough. Quickly finding what you need, jumping to that moment in the audio, or quoting what was said is still inconvenient.
Imagine tapping on a voice message and opening a dedicated interface where audio and text work together.
But what if you don't have time to go through a long transcript?
As a result, you can interact with voice messages just as easily as with regular text, instead of simply listening to them from beginning to end.
