Automatic On-chain Payments Are Now LIVE!

We’re excited to share that Automatic On-chain Payments are now fully operational! During the last payout cycle, CFP funds were successfully distributed with zero human intervention—marking a major milestone in streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.

However, there’s still work to be done. While DFI payments are fully automated, DUSD payments still require human intervention. This time, the core-devs facilitated the transaction, but please note this will be the last time.

Moving forward, if the community desires automated solutions for DUSD, it will be up to us to plan and determine how to implement them.

CFP Spotlight: DeFiChain Labs' Request For Developer Resources

Following the successful funding of its initial proposal, DeFiChain Labs has identified the need for specialized technical expertise to address potential blockchain related issues.

To ensure the continued stability and efficiency of the network, the team is now seeking additional funding to secure these critical developer resources.

⚠️ Final Reminder: dCrypto Unwrapping Ends on 28 Feb 2025

After this date, Bake will no longer support unwrapping dCrypto tokens (e.g., dBTC, dETH, dUSDC, dUSDT, dLTC, dEUROC, dDOGE, dBCH, dSOL, dSUI, dDOT).

✅ If you hold dCrypto in a DeFiChain wallet (outside of Bake) and need to unwrap it, you must act before the deadline!
❌ If you don’t hold dCrypto or don’t need unwrapping, no action is required.

After 28 Feb, dCrypto will still be tradable on DeFiChain, but unwrapping will no longer be possible.

The voting has closed at block height 4,810,000, and here’s a breakdown of the results for the five DFIPs:

1️⃣ DFIP1: Increasing DUSD Minting — Automatic Repay of DUSD Loan

Yes: 59.12% (389 votes)
No: 40.88% (269 votes)
Neutral: 1,793 votes

🔴 Rejected as it did not meet the required 66.67% approval ❌

2️⃣ DFIP2: Proposal for Adjusted Fee Structure to Enhance DUSD Liquidity and Trading Volume

Yes: 98.46% (2,114 votes)
No: 1.54% (33 votes)
Neutral: 305 votes

🟢 Approved with strong majority ✅

3️⃣ DFIP3: Proposal Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for DeFiChain

Yes: 98.22% (2,099 votes)
No: 1.78% (38 votes)
