CFP Spotlight: Effective Maintenance and Compliance of DeFiChain Light Wallet

This CFP is identical to a CFP we featured a few weeks ago; both are focused on ensuring the sustainable maintenance and compliance of the DeFiChain Light Wallet app available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

However, caution is advised: the proposing team has reported potential incorporation delays, casting uncertainty over their ability to meet the crucial April 19 deadline.

Masternode holders yet to vote should carefully consider this development. Delays could significantly impact the wallet's smooth transition and operation.

Important Update on the Light Wallet Transition

There are currently two competing CFPs aiming to take over the Light Wallet project.

At this time, only one CFP—submitted by the DTL team —is on track for approval and funding. However, due to reported delays with their incorporation, they will not be able to meet the critical April 19 deadline.

The second CFP, which is capable of meeting the deadline and ensuring continuity, is currently just a few votes short of being approved.

If neither CFP is able to step in, the Light Wallet is at risk of being permanently delisted from the Apple App Store on April 19.

The voting has closed at block height 4,420,000, and here’s a breakdown of the results for the latest DFIPs and CFPs:

- Yes: 92.09% (524 votes)
- No: 7.91% (45 votes)
- Neutral: 249 votes
