For planning deliveries of artillery (and other types of) ammo, in my opinion, the old FM 101-10-1/2 provides good guidelines.
A moderate 150 rounds of 155mm pr day, for 150 guns, are 22 500 rounds a day / 157 500 a week.
Western deliveries and production must increase!

In some ammunition categories, Desert Storm and OIF showed the numbers to be excessive, but the current type of fighting is what this publication was written for.
