@vaggonis No it really depends on the size of the village and luck also.
I know soldiers in some areas.
Most people I only call once but there are some that I continue calling over a period of time who help me out.
It probably takes me 20 calls to get to one person from a specific village.

Russia's operation was not blitzkrieg. There was only limited combined arms, air-ground coordination, decentralized execution/small unit initiative nor emphasis on encircling Ukrainian forces, massing combat power at decisive points or finding weak points.

Russia's operation emphasized speed with armored units, but that's where the similarities end. Russian armored units basically drove straight to Ukrainian cities without support or an emphasis on defeating Ukrainian ground forces. The plan assumed little resistance, unlike 1940.

Russia's operation made far less military sense. And yes, I realize that many people argue that blitzkrieg wasn't actually a cohesive doctrine, but was an after-the-fact explanation. Regardless, Russia's invasion of Ukraine does not resemble those WWII campaigns.

#Ukraine: A Ukrainian MiG-29 carrying R-27R & R-73 AAMs, in a livery similar to that of the Ukrainian Falcons display team, not active for a decade.
Given the differences/messy paint job, we suspect that this may be a former Falcons jet "reactivated" with parts from abroad.

Note: The Ukrainian Air Force has been known to use original Ukrainian Falcon Aircraft in the past- for example, over Kramatorsk in April 2014 (https://theaviationist.com/2014/04/16/ukrainian-mig-29-show-of-force/)- but the livery of this jet is quite different. It is possible that key parts have been replaced.

#Ukraine: An extremely rare BMP-1TS IFV in use with the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. This is a deep Ukrainian modernization of the classic BMP-1, with a new a SPYS combat module (30mm cannon, ATGMs, PKT and AGS-17), new radio station and rangefinder. Very few were delivered.
