@vaggonis No it really depends on the size of the village and luck also.
I know soldiers in some areas.
Most people I only call once but there are some that I continue calling over a period of time who help me out.
It probably takes me 20 calls to get to one person from a specific village.

Russia's operation was not blitzkrieg. There was only limited combined arms, air-ground coordination, decentralized execution/small unit initiative nor emphasis on encircling Ukrainian forces, massing combat power at decisive points or finding weak points.

Russia's operation emphasized speed with armored units, but that's where the similarities end. Russian armored units basically drove straight to Ukrainian cities without support or an emphasis on defeating Ukrainian ground forces. The plan assumed little resistance, unlike 1940.

Russia's operation made far less military sense. And yes, I realize that many people argue that blitzkrieg wasn't actually a cohesive doctrine, but was an after-the-fact explanation. Regardless, Russia's invasion of Ukraine does not resemble those WWII campaigns.
