RT @usf_army: Operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck two Tor-M2 SAM systems worth $50 million

On one of the active front sectors, operators of the 412th Nemesis Regiment of the USF detected and hit two enemy Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile systems. As a result of the attack, one launcher was destroyed and the other sustained severe damage.

The Tor-M2 is a short-range SAM system used by the enemy as part of layered air defense to cover troops and facilities from Ukrainian aircraft, missiles, and UAV strikes, as well as to protect medium- and long-range air defense systems such as the S-300 and S-400. Its interception radius for aerial targets is up to 15 km. The cost of a new launcher is about $25 million.

Operators of the 412th Regiment carried out another #AirDefenseCide against the enemy, using an innovative solution, the details of which are not being disclosed.
