@eagle_seek @WarMonitor3: To hit targets in China, the US will need thousands of long-range aerial kamikaze drones; missiles alone will not be enough.
Thousands of naval kamikaze drones will also be required, and interceptor drones will be needed to counter both aerial and naval kamikaze drones. If a war begins in China, China will fire tens of thousands of Shahed-like drones at Taiwan and the US military based in the region. The US would need to strike tens of thousands of targets inside China. MQ-9 Reapers wouldn’t be enough and would easily get shot down. These types of drones are going to be needed. Also, long-range mothership drones with FPV drones attached would be required for strikes inside China. The US doesn’t have any significant number of these, or any mass production of any types of these drones.
China also isn’t the only threat to the US military. Countries like Russia and others may arise where Ground Warfare is needed. Ground warfare can’t just be foregone and deemed unnecessary because there is no immediate threat to the US. It seems like Russia has been dismissed as a threat, while it’s only becoming a large threat every single day to NATO. There definitely is an immediate threat to US allies and, in the future, possibly the US as well. While with China, a mass production of long-range kamikaze and FPV drones is also needed.

@eagle_seek @WarMonitor3: Because the US vs. Houthis and Iran are not comparable forces. The US has dominated the Middle East for decades.
Of course, 5 to 15 drones in one attack are going to be dominated by US air power. That’s not the same as 500 to 1,000 kamikaze drones every day flying at an air base

6.🇷🇺137 Airborne Regt POWs captured in Kursk/Sumy
Last week @poisk_in_ua released 19 KIA reports from 137th, presumably mainly from Kursk and Sumy. So time to catch up on their POWs.
I found 3 new ones all from its 6th Battalion.
1st was captured in June. No important info given.

A private from it 6th Battalion, 4th Company, captured in May in Kursk.
They were ordered to entrench In the Sudzha forest but they got bombed.

The third round of direct Russia-Ukraine negotiations in Istanbul has concluded after nearly an hour.
According to reports, the two parties have agreed to conduct a prisoner exchange in the near future (military and civilian personnel included).
