@AMK_Mapping_: Tomahawk cruise missiles are much faster than Ukrainian drones, and Ukrainian drones fly over 1000km from Ukraine and are able to reach targets further than Yelabuga. Many are not shot down until they are hundreds of kilometers from Ukraine, due to Russia not being able to defend every area in its country because it’s the largest country on earth. Russian defenses are mostly equipped for drones at a range of +1,000km. While closer to the front, air defenses are adapted to cruise missiles that reach frontline cities within the average Storm Shadow range. But not all cities near the front, mainly Crimea and several large cities.
If anything, ATACMS can be used to take out S-400 systems first along the route of Tomahawks, then Tomahawks will be fired. Russia is a very vast place, especially Yelabuga. The most difficult areas to cross would be frontline cities, although this problem can be solved by maneuvering routes with less air...

@ukraine_map @AMK_Mapping_: In May, Ukraine struck a major UAVs factory, the Kronshtadt Plant in Dubna, Moscow Oblast with 8 UAVs at once 530km from the front. Such attacks are entirely possible and more damaging with cruise missiles
Cruise missiles are also faster and harder to shoot down than slower UAVs

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: This is nonsense, Ukraine isn’t getting 17 more Patriot systems. That would be 1/3rd of all the systems US has, and almost all the Patriot systems that Europe has.

@front_ukrainian: In other words, the US is not sending Ukraine equipment anymore at levels that they were before because the remaining PDA has nearly ran out, instead of pledging a new package, they want Europe to pay for that equipment.

@WarMonitor3: What outcome? False promises and unlimited deadlines for Russia. Trump has yet to take any action against Russia, either by pledging new aid packages or imposing serious economic sanctions and tariffs against Russia
The two weeks, has turning into months, and now another 50 days

@WarMonitor3: Ukraine 🇺🇦 is not receiving a $10 billion military aid package from the US
Europe 🇪🇺 will be allowed to purchase $10 billion in equipment from manufacturers, it may take months or years to deliver. $3.5 billion is Norway 🇳🇴 and Germany 🇩🇪 funding 3 Patriots and addition missiles

@ukraine_map @WarMonitor3: To clarify for everyone, since it’s been miss represented what is actually happening. The US has been sending equipment from its own stock half the time and purchasing equipment from manufacturers half of the time
The Presidential Drawdown Authority previously pledged has ran out, and instead of pledging or purchasing new military aid for Ukraine, the US is making Europe pay for the equipment
The majority of which will be purchases to US manufacturers, and some of which maybe from US stock at a higher prices than its value. That US will profit from and buy new equipment for themselves. A low amount, a couple hundred million may arrive within days or weeks, the rest within months, and then orders within months or years. Unfortunately, the US doesn’t want to spending anymore more money on Ukraine, and Europe will be paying for aid themselves. The regular PDA that was sent to Ukraine will continue at some level, but instead of US paying for it, Europe will pay for it. Then several billions will be orders to US manufacturers.
