The purchase is split into two parts, with the first encompassing 128 tracked howitzers as well as 48 tracked support vehicles split between ammunition resupply, recovery, and command for 1,82 billion €.
The second part calls for 86 wheeled howitzers on either an 8x8 or 10x10 platform along with 86 ammunition resupply vehicles, 14 recovery vehicles, and 7 repair vehicles for 1,18 billion €.

PAC-3 MSE annual production is in the 550-650 range presently. That is insufficient to meet US Army's [new] inventory needs let alone export and aid to Ukraine. Someone needs to go in and fund a 4x increase in annual production. Short of that, you either have to acknowledge that the AO will never be met, or turn the taps off on export completely. At its current 'buy rate', the Army will take more than four decades to meets its new AO.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Given the PAC-3 MSE Acquisition Objective was just increased from 3,376 to 13,773, this 25% could solely be a result of that, rather than impacts from drawdowns and combat expenditures in CENTCOM.
