🇺🇸🇳🇴 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Norway of up to 9 HH-60W combat rescue helicopters, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $2.6 billion.
HH-60W airframe/contractor furnished equipment unit cost is $40 million.
The prime contractor would be Sikorsky (Lockheed Martin).
"The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."

❗🇺🇸🇺🇦 Deputy Secretary of Defense Feinberg is considering sending Congress a new supplemental budget request to fund munitions procurement.
Even without additional PDAs to Ukraine (which is likely coming on Monday) the DoD badly needs additional funds to replace what has already been sent. The Biden Admin consistently lied to Congress about how much money they needed for the PDA replacement account.
