Trump is considering sending one additional Patriot system from US 🇺🇸 to Ukraine, while Germany 🇩🇪 and Norway 🇳🇴 plan to order 3 Patriots, which may take months or years to deliver to Ukraine
Ukraine 🇺🇦 is not in the best situation right now with air defenses because Russia rapidly scaled up its production of Shaheds with the help of China and has changed its tactics with Iskanders. Ukraine has a missile shortage for Patriots and not enough air defenses to intercept the number of Shaheds and cruise missiles that Russia could launch.
At the very minimum, Ukraine needs 6 to 8 new Patriot batteries as soon as possible, most of which must be equipped with dozens of PAC-3 MSE missiles, several launchers, and powerful radars.
