At a minimum, the US military should develop standardized add on counter-UAS armor for its vehicles. Far better to develop them now than realizing they are needed during the next conflict.

🛰️ Low-resolution satellite imagery shows the Russian Kirovskiy military airfield in Crimea, taken three days after the recent attack.
The imagery reveals numerous burn marks across the airbase. Prior to the strike, the base hosted around a dozen aircraft. Following the attack, nearly all aircraft appear to have been relocated, with only three remaining — all situated in the most affected area of the airbase.
According to Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), three Russian helicopters — a Mi-8, Mi-26, and Mi-28 — were destroyed in the attack. Later, other sources reported that one Mi-8 was completely destroyed, while the Mi-26 and Mi-28 suffered fuselage damage.
