@ukraine_map @mattyboy247: 1. Deployment of THAAD System

In October 2024, the U.S. announced it was sending the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and 100 troops to Israel to intercept ballistic missile attacks from Iran and its proxies.

The THAAD system complements Israel's existing defenses, such as the Patriot missile system, with broader coverage and advanced capabilities. The US has used SM-6 missiles and AMRAAM missiles, as well as other types of missiles, to shoot down drones and missiles being fired at Israel by Iran and the Houthis. The US used a significant number of key air defense missiles on US ships to defend Israel in the past 2 years. These missiles were produced in low numbers and were mainly needed to defend against China.

2. Emergency Aid and Wartime Procurement

In September 2024, the U.S. secured an $8.7 billion aid package for Israel, including $3.5 billion for wartime procurement and $5.2 billion for air defense systems like the Iron Dome and David's Sling.

In April 2024, Congress approved $14.3 billion in emergency military assistance and $9.2 billion for humanitarian aid, including support for Gazan civilians.

@mattyboy247: You’re falling into the same BS that Russia wants you to believe

There will be no World War 3 if Ukraine is sent the weapons it needs to defend, yes, defend against Russia. Neither would there be WW3 if the West helped to shoot down cruise missiles being fired at Ukraine 🇺🇦

@johnnydimes24: US 🇺🇸 gives both military aid and sales to Israel. US aid to Israel exceeds that of Ukraine. US put one of it’s 5 THAAD systems to protect Israel. US has used hundreds of US missiles from US ships and US fighter jets costing billions to shoot down missiles fired by Iran at Israel

The graph above shows the military and economic aid the US sent to Israel, not sales

US never asked Israel to pay any of it back; US uses naval warships, THAAD, and fighter jets to defend Israel

In 2024, Congress approved $14.3 billion in emergency military assistance to Israel

Tonight, Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in the Russian city of Ufa, which is located over 1,200km from Ukraine.

A fire broke out at the facility.

RT @Osinttechnical: Ukrainian attack drones successfully conducted one of the deepest strikes of the war tonight, hitting Russia’s Ufa Oil Refinery, over 1300 km behind the frontline.

The Russian refinery is burning.

In total, from 1951 to 2024, the US has sent Israel ~$250 billion in military aid and $90 billion in economic aid. That’s $340 billion in military and economic aid, not counting other forms of aid

Meanwhile, US has delivered to Ukraine $90 to $104 billion since February 24, 2022

@DanielW19606942: Israel has not paid the US back for the aid that it has sent. Israel buys weapons from US manufacturers, and they receive military aid, which they don’t pay back. I am referring to aid right now, which exceeds Ukraine by 2.5 times

@columbus_derek: US has ~50 allies, they don’t give them $250 billion each. Ukraine and Israel got aid passed by Congress, which did not require repayment. Trump came, lied about the amount sent, and wants it all paid back

Israel bought out most US Congress members, so US gives them everything

@nhensle11: Allies are now obligated $250 billion? Oh wait, no, not all 50 US allies, but only the one that bought out most US Congrsss members, they get whatever they want and can do whatever they want. While others get insulted, called a State instead of a country, or asked to give up land

@ukraine_map @nhensle11: Let’s not make excuses for everything when it comes to Israel. They got $250 billion in military and economic aid, in the same way Ukraine did which is aid passed by Congress. Ukraine defend Europe, the whole continent so US troops don’t need to, and they are asked to pay it back

@WatsonLadd @OmegaOne734428 @BelzebubKera: The Russians are more than capable of intercepting both ATACMS and Storm Shadow SCALP-EG, just not at the same time. Penetration rates have become rather poor unless part of a complex raid.

@DanielW19606942: It’s funny how many make an exception when it comes to Israel, now the Bible. US does not have to protect Israel. You seem not to know Ukraine 🇺🇦 never received $500 billion

Since 2022, Ukraine received $90 to $104 billion in military, economic, and humanitarian aid from US 🇺🇸

The US economy is many multiples larger than Russia's. The Department of Defense has vast arsenals of military hardware in deep storage, whereas Russia's are rapidly thinning out. The idea that the US can't continue to support Ukraine is absurd.

Vance has a strangely defeatist attitude, for someone who purports to believe in restoring America's greatness.

RT @michaeldweiss: Arming Ukraine has re-industrialised America as the bulk of our spending has gone to opening factories and hiring workers to build weapons and ammunition and to otherwise revitalising America’s own military. This is the man who told Zelensky he didn’t need to go to Ukraine because he’s seen “the stories.” Vance also doesn’t understand the U.S. policy on Ukraine he opposes. A combination of lazy and cretinous. https://www.aei.org/ukraine-assistance-at-a-glance/ https://twitter.com/JDVance/status/1896232982014476780#m
