@mcguinnessfortx @Oslo_bear @FilTri9: It is important to understand that a lot of what Ukraine is doing is just simply not relevant for the way the United States is going to fight a war against China. The US has vastly different requirements given the INDOPACOM theatre and capabilities of the PRC.

The Department of Defense has notably not held a single press briefing since the Trump Admin took office. The Biden Admin, for all their faults, held one within a few days.
Austin's Pentagon was actually very untransparent, so it's a low bar for the Trump Admin to climb over, but so far they're doing worse. Banning the press from working out of the briefing room is antithetical to transparency.
