RT @Danspiun: What a thread.
Stacks of new Ru AFV losses (mainly VDV) in Kursk Oblast, in a thread still being added too as I write this.
Whatever the arguments for and against this opp, the attrition of🇷🇺armour and VDV + marine units in the🇷🇺 counteroffensive is staggering.

@einarvollset @ElbridgeColby: If the US is serious about standing up to China, they need to get Europe onboard and not sowing division between us like the Greenland business is doing.
Facing China isn't purely about military might but also political capital, economics and industry.
A possible deterioration of US - European relations, as the world stands today, only benefits our adversaries.

@einarvollset @ElbridgeColby: While China is the US main strategic adversary, Russia will remain a serious challenge and they are an Asia-Pacific nation too, seeing the US as their main enemy. And we have North Koreans fighting in Europe now. Everything is connected.
Use of the stick to foster change in Europe needs to be done wisely, or else we risk getting worse off on both sides of the Atlantic.

🇺🇸🚨 HASC Chairman Mike Rogers is now considering up to $100 billion in addition defense spending in both FY25 & FY26. His initial proposal was $50 billion, with the Senate looking at $60 billion.
Rogers and SASC Chairman Wicker are engaged in discussions with Pres Trump on how to get the defense boost included in the Reconciliation package.
$100 billion would go a very long way to fulfilling all the DoD's unfunded priorities. https://twitter.com/johnmdonnelly/status/1879939250919014495#m

RT @Black_BirdGroup: Light Infantry Attacks – A Thread
Why does our @J_JHelin keep rejecting the "human waves" narrative, instead calling the reported North Korean attacks in Kursk "basic infantry drills"?
Let’s dive into light infantry on the attack and why this distinction matters.

RT @Black_BirdGroup: Why does this matter?
Reports of North Korean troops in Kursk often mention “human wave” tactics. This narrative oversimplifies what’s likely happening: They’re employing basic, scalable infantry drills. These are rooted in fire and movement, not mindless rushing.
