RT @Gerashchenko_en: Volodymyr Rakov, a Ukrainian dancer, winner of the Everybody Dance! TV show, choreographer and artist, died defending Ukraine on January 6. He was 30 years old.

Volodymyr joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022. He served in the ranks of the 2nd Rifle Battalion of the 24th Mechanized Brigade.

Volodymyr worked as an assistant choreographer in the Dancing with the Stars show and was also an artist of the Kozar Dance Theater (2013-2016), Traum Theater Salome Germany 2017-2019, and the winner of WOD 2018 Berlin as part of the Wonder Crew. In 2015, he participated with the Apache Crew at Hip Hop International in San Diego.

The dancer was originally from Yevpatoria, Crimea. He was trained at dance schools in the USA Broadway dance center, New York, Millennium, Los Angeles, Movement LifeStyle, Los Angeles.
