According to Russian milblogger Kirill Fedorov, who has connections in the Russian Air Force, Russia lost three helicopters within a week (two Mil Mi-8s and one Mil Mi-28).

Two Mil Mi-8s were reportedly shot down by Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicles (equppied with R-77 missiles), while a Mil Mi-28 "didn't return home."

In total, 8 Russian crew-members from those 3 helis were said to be killed.
