Ukrainian drone strikes hit a fuel depot in the Russian city of Engels in Saratov Oblast, causing fire at the facility.
Engels is located over 500km from the border with Ukraine.
Situated there is also the Engels-2 Air Base of the Russian Long-Range Aviation, although it is yet to become clear whether it was also the target of tonight's attack.

@mikchukwu: I am an American taxpayer and have donated thousands of dollars in medical supplies to Ukraine. I can judge US policy all I want, but when there is weakness, it must be called out—especially when I know a lot more could have and should have been done. Ukraine would have been in a much better position in the war today if action had been taken earlier, and Biden wouldn’t have feared every false threat Putin made and allowed him to buy time to adjust and regroup.
Biden himself didn’t do anything other than sign pieces of paper. His failed escalation policy, constant delays, and drip feeding of equipment have cost tens of thousands of Ukrainian lives. I remember when he did an interview in mid-2023 and said, “No” that Ukraine doesn’t need F-16s, only to approve them months later and then delay training for another year. US didn’t send, buy, or upgrade a single F-16 sent to Ukraine during the war and prevented European nations from...
