@TorbenAnschau @front_ukrainian: To say they need one thing more than they need another is a total losing strategy and has shown to be unsuccessful in the long run. Yes, Ukraine needs as many long-range missiles as possible, which they do not currently have and won’t have for a long time, to strike deep into Russia, where there are much less dense air defenses than in occupied Ukraine. The most densely packed air defenses are in occupied Ukraine of the ~120,000km2 of it vs the +800,000km2 of territory that those same air defenses would have to be allocated to if Ukraine was allowed to strike inside Russia with ATACMS, Taurus, SCALP-EG, and Storm Shadow with no restrictions. These excuses to keep restrictions and not send Ukraine enough missiles have led Russia to move most of their major ammo depots, military command centers, production, and fighter jets out of Ukraine into Russia while bringing their air defense systems into Ukraine and causing Western missiles to be shot down at much higher rates, and lesser important targets to be hit, while Western restrictions and weakness are protecting the more essential hundreds of targets in Russia.
Also, saying that one weapon won’t change the war is pretty apparent. Nobody claims that deep strikes into Russia will change the war, but without them, the war is also not winnable, and damage inflicted on Russia militarily, politically, and economically will be much less severe. Instead of making these excuses, provide Ukraine with the necessary aid and stop thinking Ukraine has or will ever have the necessary production or stockpile to defeat Russia or do meaningful strikes in Russia to win the war.

Russian Defense Ministry says that Ukraine employed six ATACMS ballistic missiles and four Storm Shadow cruise missiles during strikes on the Federal State Enterprise Chemical Combine "Kamensky" in Rostov Oblast on December 18.
The Russian side claimed the interception of all six ATACMS and three Storm Shadow missiles.
