@logicsblade @RpsAgainstTrump: The evidence was pretty overwhelming, especially in the Secret Documents case, where he purposefully stole secret, top secret, and top secret SCI documents from the White House as an ordinary citizen. Then, he put him in his guest bathroom, showing them to others, giving them to his butler to hide, and damaging them. If you did that, you’d be in prison for the rest of your life. And that’s just one of the cases.

They were there and witnesses he personally knows saw it there multiple times. If you want to live in your own bubble and deny reality. That’s fine. It’s delusional

@ViaVega2: I agree, it often depends on the context. Some units are manned with a large percentage of guys who previously went AWOL, but fight well when they are properly trained, equipped, and led.

When they went to get out there was no documentation and getting disability compensation, that they earned, became difficult.
Those same people told the next generation of war fighters, mine, to get seen when they got hurt. We have it all documented. Health care in the military isn’t just a privilege, it’s a right.
20 years of war, a full career from a military lens, broke people. The difference is that people got it documented.

He had the ability to build a wall in the first two years of his presidency, but he didn’t do any of it. Instead, he waited until his third year to pick political fights and caused the longest shutdown in U.S. government history, affecting hundreds of thousands of American workers. He barely helped Ukraine while president, selling only 40 Javelin launchers in four years, secretly pausing aid to Ukraine for months, and using none of the $1.6 billion of aid approved by Congress for Ukraine’s military during his presidency. Instead, he used Ukraine to open investigations on his political rival, threatening that Ukraine wouldn’t get aid unless they complied—aid that he never gave anyway.
He has totally changed the Republican Party to be entirely centered around him. Anyone who disagrees loses their seat in the House or Senate. He has placed his family members in high cabinet/party positions, including leadership in the Republican Party—the most nepotism the U.S. has seen in a long time. He’s putting people with zero experience and crazy ideas in charge of essential government agencies.
He was the main person who forced Congress to pause all new military aid to Ukraine for five months, causing tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers to be killed or injured. He has selected the most pro-Russian vice-presidential candidate of all time. He has turned a significant part of the Republican Party against Ukraine, as well as nominating a Russian agent, Tulsi Gabbard, as Director of National Security.
I could go on for a long time with this list. It’s a disaster.
People forget all of that. Americans made a massive mistake by electing this narcissist as President again. And currently, there are plenty of people with optimism bias, thinking Trump will make America great again after his four disastrous years in office and now horrible cabinet picks. If he had the ability to and were leading another country, not the US, he’d grab all the power he could and be a dictator. After January 6th, he should have never been let back into power.
