🇩🇪🇱🇹 Construction is starting on Rheinmetall's new 155mm artillery ammunition plant in Baisogala, Lithuania. It will begin operating in mid-2026, producing both shell bodies and conducting Load, Assemble & Pack. Tens of thousands of projectiles will be produced annually. Rheinmetall expects to produce over 1 million 155mm projectiles per year across all its operations globally by the end of 2026.
