@cym27s: Unfortunately that close to the front it’s costly to put air defense systems. Air defenses are mostly concentrated around cities and important military targets. Putting a NASAMS or IRIS-T that close will increase the chances it gets destroyed. It’s better to put it around a city.

RT @rustem_umerov: On instructions from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, today, as part of the Ukrainian delegation in Seoul, I had meetings with the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol, Minister of Defense Kim Yong-hyun and Director of National Security Shin Won Sik.

I provided information on the involvement of a 12,000-strong contingent of military personnel from North Korea within the russian army. North Korean forces are not only supplying equipment and manpower but are also actively supporting strikes against Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

For the Republic of Korea, these actions pose a serious threat, as North Korean troops are gaining combat experience, which could present additional security challenges in the region in the future.

Together with President Yoon Suk Yeol, we discussed joint steps to enhance security and stability.

We believe that our arguments for the necessity to increase cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea will lead to a tangible strengthening of security for our nations and regions 🇺🇦🇰🇷.
