@ManyathelaWase @PrinceO70703289: Just because the warhead hit the ground doesn’t mean the strike was successful. We don’t know if the strike was successful or not. These missiles are highly inaccurate. It’s like the Irna strike on Israel. They hit Nevatim air base with 35 missiles, but the vast majority of them missed by hundreds of meters and hit the open. It’s totally impractical to be using an ICBM with an accuracy mean for a nuclear warhead to strike a specific building. It’s like trying to hit a dart board with your eyes closed backward.

So, could some buildings be hit? Maybe it’s all based on chance. The strike, if you haven’t noticed, was done to simulate a potential nuclear weapon attack on Ukraine; the actual warheads are off by several hundreds of meters from where they were aimed. The purpose of the attack was to be a threat and involve psychological responses or feelings. Russia launching their ICBMs at targets in Ukraine would be the biggest waste of ICBMs. But they’ve got us talking about it. That’s Russia’s primary goal; their nuclear threats don’t work anymore because they are BS. So they decided to launch an ICBM to be taken seriously, then staged a fake phone call during a press conference to draw attention to it. The US and Europe should ignore it and allow Ukraine to win and defend themselves.

It looks increasingly likely to me that Ukraine and Western/US officials have the same Russian missile on mind [main suspect: RS-26 Rubezh], the only difference is in classification of the said missile [ICBM or IRBM]. https://twitter.com/Archer83Able/status/1859583469963137320#m

@NOELreports: That’s probably what a lot of Russian ICBMs have, no nuclear warhead or a poorly maintained one.

Russia claims to have over 5,500 nuclear warheads. The US has over 5,000 nuclear warheads. Russia spends $9 billion per year to maintain those nuclear warheads while the US with less warheads spends over $60 billion to maintain them.

France has 19 times less nuclear warheads than Russia but spends 80% of what Russia does to sustain all of their +5,500 nuclear warheads and build new ICBMs. While France is just spending that money to sustain them.

RT @Skyrocket71: Some thoughts on the Russian conventional ballistic missile (#ICBM ?) strike on #Dnipro (small thread):

Although called an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), it was launched from a distance of less than 1000km from Kapustin Yar, likely on a lofted trajectory.

While I'm reluctant to say too much at the current stage, keep this in mind:

Whatever kind of game the Russians have begun playing today, don't succumb to nuclear- or WW3 fears and paranoia.

That is what they want.

Responsible reporting is the order of the day.
