I think the one you have found might have been the pilot for their departure, and then disembarked, the normal procedure.

This is always the threat used for every “red line” Russia makes, the same threat used for Patriot, HIMARS, Javelins, M777, F-16s, ATACMS, and Tanks. Literally everything, there is a threat of nuclear war, then when the line gets crossed, nothing happens. The most Russia has done and can do other than launch a nuke, which they won’t do, is do large missile strikes and bring in North Korean troops, which they already did.

Significant missile strikes that take months to build up their stockpile and prepare for, like the one from earlier this week, because smaller strikes aren’t as impactful as they were two years ago due to an increased number of air defenses.

Russia launched over 14,000 missiles at Ukraine during the war, and bringing in 10k North Korean soldiers is somehow not escalation and can’t be responded to, but Ukraine defending itself and striking a military target in Russia with ATACMS is somehow a major escalation that will lead to WW3. These threats and red lines get old; it’s the same old line Russia uses over and over again and has been crossed countless times during the war.
