With two months left in office, the president for the first time authorized the Ukrainian military to use the system known as ATACMS to help defend its forces in the Kursk region of Russia.
Allowing the Ukrainians to use the long-range missiles, known as the Army Tactical Missile Systems, or ATACMS, came in response to Russia's surprise decision to bring North Korean troops into the fight, officials said.

- I personally won't believe it until I see it.
-Once again, US officials are leaking information to journalists, the premature publication of which could cause damage. (The Russians will have time to prepare).
-What the hell prevented them from doing this in mid-summer 2022. If this permission had been given a few years ago, the potential effect would have been much more critical for the Russian army. https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/status/1858212232846315909#m
