Military activity in Belarus in October 2024. Briefly
• The situation on the Belarus-Ukraine border has de-escalated. Units of the Special Operations Forces and Internal Troops are still stationed in the area bordering Ukraine.
• At least 49 UAVs flew into Belarus over the month, at least 1 of them was shot down.
• No increase in the number of the group of the Russian Armed Forces in Belarus has been recorded.
• Up to 100 mercenaries of PMC Wagner are still in Belarus, they continue to train security forces of the Lukashenka regime.
This is the first in a series of posts about the key military events in Belarus in October.
