@ShuffleOSINT @KarlWaelder: Military leaders asked for much more resources, but still pursued a strategy that would not defeat the Taliban or make Afghanistan sustainable without an enduring US military presence and significant financial aid. The global situation in 2021 was not the same as 2001.
