The Norwegian Veterinary Institute has delivered their preliminary autopsy report on the Beluga whale "Whaledimir" and according to the Police, the whale had no injuries compatible with gun-shot wounds.
Case closed it seems.

Det ble funnet en 35 centimeter lang pinne som satt fast inne i munnen på Hvaldimir. Politiet mistenker ikke at det er skjedd noe kriminelt.
