12. 488th Motor-Rifle Regt POWs captured in Kurst Obl.
After being hit with all kind of weaponry they evacuated 2 WIA, but only in short intervals, as UAF drones flew continuously.
There were 5-6 Akhmat and 3 'mobiks' and a mortar team with them, but they couldn't leave their dugouts to reach the mortar.
On the 7th they were attacked from the rear and by the 8th there were only 12 conscripts and a NCO left (out of originally 30-32 conscripts, 5-6 Akhmat, 2 contractors and 3 mobiks).
They retreated to another position and hid overnight in a trench which they camouflaged. In the morning they tried to reach the dugout of their Major to get supplies but they were captured. He considered suicide by hand grenade but was glad he was captured instead. UAF helped them and gave them cigarettes.
