RT @Tatarigami_UA: 8/The subsonic Kh-101, powered by a TRDD-50A turbofan, emits a distinctive jet engine sound familiar to experienced observers. In contrast, supersonic missiles like the AIM-120 or AIM-9 produce different sounds due to their higher velocities and rocket motor propulsion.

Fake: “The Chinese are parachuting from Russian aircraft near the Polish border”
Ukrainian Telegram channels have slightly exaggerated the situation with the joint Chinese-Belarusian drills currently taking place at the Brestski training ground.
• First of all, the Chinese are not practicing parachuting in Brest yet, but they will. They are only preparing for it.
• Second, not from Russian aircraft, but from Il-76 of the Belarusian Air Force. They could have been called “Soviet” to emphasize how old they are (both two Il-76 of the Belarusian Air Force are 35 years old), but definitely not Russian.
• Third, the drills with the Chinese are held periodically, and were conducted earlier several times.
• Fourth, the Chinese military participated in drills in Belarus before. For example, in 2011 in the “Rapid Eagle-2011” drills.
Belarusian Hajun will report additionally in case the Russian Armed Forces participate in these drills.

RT @FRHoffmann1: Here is a summary of the details that I posted yesterday conclusively proving the missile in question is a Kh-101, not an AIM-120 or any other type of missile. From the rear section to the front part:
1) If you zoom in and look closely, you'll see atmospheric distortions indicating the exhaust stream coming from the missile's rear section. This is typical for cruise missiles like the Kh-101, as cruise missiles are continuously propelled until impact. In contrast, rocket-propelled missiles like the AIM-120 burn their fuel within seconds and then glide to their target, so you wouldn't see an exhaust stream this late in the flight.
2) The missile's rear fins are too large and do not match the shape of those on an AIM-120.
3) The bottom-mounted TRDD-50A turbofan engine is clearly visible. This type of engine is common in some Russian land-attack cruise missiles, including the Kh-101 and the Kh-55...

@mandhistorian: If you cant see the difference, between trying to use images of what they believe is a military factory and a hospital with dead children for their propaganda purposes, you are not worth my time. This is the last response you're gonna get.
