The officer who was stabbed by migrants on the Belarusian-Polish border died in the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw, @tvn24 reports. He was in a state of clinical death.

On May 28, Polish officers were attacked near the border post in Dubicze Cerkiewne. About 50 migrants were involved in the assault. They stormed the border fence, threw stones and tree branches at Polish border guards and soldiers, and also used sharp tools attached to branches. One of them hit a soldier with such a weapon when he was trying to block a breach in the steel fence.
