Before someone asks again: "That is in Poland, why you are calling it GeoConfirmed UKR ?"

Because 'UKR' is related to the conflict/map. (So incidents in other country's, related to the war in UKR, will also be called "GeoConfirmed UKR"
And for one/a few incidents we will not… https://t.co/So9XIuPMif

Rarely-seen, Romanian-made APR-40 122mm multiple rocket launcher in service of the Ukrainian 37th Separate Marine Brigade targeting Russian positions.

The news about the delivery of these systems to Ukraine appeared in May 2023.

I would add that, after a mostly dismounted infantry fight for ~6 weeks, it seems Ukraine made another attempt to breakthrough Russian lines in the south with armor in company-size elements last week. Unclear whether Russian attrition has set the conditions for a breakthrough.

@Samizdat24 Not fully clear. They made gains, but they also took losses. There are multiple strong lines of defenses down there, so heavy attrition could cause the offensive to culminate. Russia has also managed to counterattack successfully in some cases. We'll just have to wait and see.

RT @laraseligman: A final decision has not yet been made, but we are told it is imminent.

Meanwhile, European militaries, including the French, are already evacuating their citizens.

@Samizdat24 @Vnark Agreed. Best to just wait and see.

RT @USAmbKyiv: Russia’s attacks on civilian and port infrastructure in Odesa, Izmail, and Reni devastate places where people live and work. As Russia continues to weaponize food, these escalatory attacks also represent a total assault on Ukraine’s ability to get badly needed grain to people… https://t.co/KEKEIeYBhX

@shashj I think armor is one component. Russian anti-tank capabilities are quite strong, so Ukraine has to neutralize them with other arms. That has been difficult so far because of a lack of air superiority and other capabilities.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@historicfirearm The problem is that Russia has advantages in an attritional fight because it has more manpower and ammunition.

@Evgeney19 Ну, миномёты тоже к артиллерии относятся

I think this discussion need some nuance to "trained by the West"

For newer formations, we are talking about wartime raised, mostly mobilized units, given 4-6 weeks of combined arms training.

This should have contributed to managing expectations in advance
