A cyberattack against 12 of 16 Norwegian Ministries, detected two weeks ago, was revealed at a press conference today.

The attack exploited a zero-day vulnerability.

The attack vector has been closed and an intensive investigation is ongoing, though officials haven't said anything on who may be responsible.

The software in question, also not named, is used by numerous companies and other entities in Norway and abroad.
