@superaqwal It literally takes 3 seconds to find out that it is +10°C right now in Zaporizhzhia.

ICYMI: My recent two part series looking at the Northern Fleet's Yasen-class SSGNs in 2022.

Tracking subs via open sources isn't easy, so errors are possible. However, I do think I have managed to draw an overview of their pace of activity.

Russian 9A137M TELAR of the Buk-M3 medium-range anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed as a result of a strike by the Ukrainian 44th Separate Artillery Brigade in Zaporizhzhia Oblast of Ukraine.

Presumably, the Ukrainians used M982 Excalibur 155mm precision guided shell.

Note the absolutely rare lack of annoying music

@penderbook We will have to wait and see what they do and what happens with these units.

However, I personally do look at the announced expansion of the ground forces through the prism of the war, as I think this will be a long war. Post-war OOB is, IMO, hypothetical at the current time.

RT @The_Lookout_N: "A war of the mobilized, reserve officers and artillery. Quantity matters."

An interesting and sober discussion on the war and factors that will influence future developments featuring @KofmanMichael and @DAlperovitch.

Well worth spending just over half an hour listening to.

RT @The_Lookout_N: Recommend listening to this one too.
Keywords from my perspective:

The ghosts of a Soviet past in the Ukraine.
Different Russian approaches in different sectors and they are actually learning and adapting.
Lack of mineclearing equipment on both sides.
+a lot more

RT @Forsvaret_no: Parachutists from the Surveillance & Reconnaissance Sqn of @Commando_Ops and NL @korpsmariniers at a paradrop at Takvatnet, Norway. Frozen Arctic lakes and terrain make it possible to deploy elite forces almost anywhere, something they got to test at #JointViking23 #JointWarrior https://twitter.com/Forsvaret_no/status/1634513400318369792/photo/1

@Jand12A The only indication is this still. To me, it looks like it will need some serious repair, but I wouldn't call it "destroyed."

That's of course if there wasn't an ammo ignition and detonation not shown in the footage.
