RT @RALee85: Although Russia now has a large force, it depends heavily on more elite units to actually assault Ukrainian positions, including VDV, naval infantry, Wagner assault units, etc. which are a smaller share. Once those units take losses, Russia's offensive potential declines.

Interesting. Ukrainian artillery crews are reportedly using American M1101 HE 120mm mortar rounds with captured Russian Nona-SVK and Nona-K 120mm mortars in Ukrainian service.

When people argue that tanks, aircraft carriers, fighters, etc. are obsolete, the natural question is to ask them to construct their own ideal version of a military. You'll realize that it won't be able to perform a variety of critical missions, and you're now assuming new risks.

“Carriers are obsolete” is the quickest signal to either skip the argument entirely or rage-scan it for all the predictably inaccuracies and logical fallacies then punt it into the sun. https://t.co/m88heOGf02
