Since August, it was announced that Ukraine 🇺🇦 would get 9 NASAMS and 4 IRIS-T SLM air defense systems

However, Ukraine only received 3 of those systems

At this rate, it would take nearly 2 years or more to deliver all the NASAMS and IRIS-T systems that were ordered for Ukraine

However, Ukrainians started training on Patriot systems in USA a several weeks ago and it would take months before a Patriot battery arrives in Ukraine

I know it takes years to make the systems. The estimated completion date for NASAMS is November 2025

I am just stating the fact that only 3 of 13 systems were sent. Hopefully, NATO countries could send other SAM systems they have since NASAMS will take years to get to Ukraine 🇺🇦

Germany🇩🇪 said they hoped another IRIS-T system would be delivered to Ukraine by the end of 2022

Germany’s official website says they still need to deliver 3 IRIS-T SLM systems
