@APearlBird and the shrapnel would have messed up the gun laying/ajustment and sighting mechanisms of the gun. Its heavily damaged or destroyed in my view.

@FunkerActual I note your use of the term allegedly... I think you are on too something. Not a single shell hole or sign of battle damage anywhere near those treelines. Yes one explosion and some gunfire in the background but my guess is it's all weapons testing in the rear for the cameras.
