Politico reports that the US is planning to send Ukraine the Abrams tank in M1A2 configuration, rather than the older A1 version.

Pentagon wants to provide Ukraine the A2 version in its "export" version, without highly classified armor package with depleted uranium.

Girkin also notes that the NATO armored vehicles are better than what the Russian military is currently using, and that a tank brigade with NATO tanks will be difficult to fight against. But he noted tens of new tanks will not be enough to defeat Russia.
