More than 30 missiles were fired at Ukraine today 🇺🇦

Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and the Dnipro Region
Ukraine Battle Map (Twitter)

@sergey2207g The reports sometimes don't specify between the region or the city, so it doesn't necessarily need to be the city where the explosions were heard

For example, the explosions could be reported in Lviv, but the missile could get shot down in Lviv Oblast and not in the City of Lviv

From a NYT article, and no, I think we can reassure Scholz and Germany that this isn't the case at all.

Especially since many European nations has operated German made tanks, in large numbers, since the Leopard 1 appeared in the 60s.
-----------
@COdendahl:
“In private conversations, Mr. #Scholz made the case that even eight decades after World War II, European nations would be uncomfortable seeing German tanks rumbling into battle — even in the cause of liberating Ukrainian territory.”

Is that true? I doubt it.

@dryfly_whodat @RivetzLarry @DefMon3 'Do I have this right? The UKRAINIANS geolocated the Wagner base from their posted picture and then HIMARed it?'.... Not confirmed but quite possible as others point out its happened numerous times before. But the locals ('partisans') having eyes on it too is just as relevant.

@KaptainLOMA Could be the ice conditions. If they are rough enough, even this vessel could be in need of support by nuclear icebreakers to make a norther transit at this time of year.

@AndrewPerpetua IMO not one bit of geolocatable evidence that UAF had ever recaptured this area. I think its been held by Russia since April but was attributed to Ukraine by sloppy map makers and by those that attribute control solely based on shelling reports.

A reminder to Western media of their responsibilities and of not immediately buy into everything Moscow says regarding Western support to Ukraine, this time concerning the MBTs.

On nuclear risks, which may still be low but isn't zero, we need a calm and open debate as before.
-----------
@kaeggen:
And the latter effort it quite effective if my inbox and media requests are a good measure. The most frequently asked question: "should we fear Russian use of nuclear weapons?". Not saying we should dismiss the possibility, but the tanks decision is not a red line.

#Norway will provide Ukrainian soldiers with professional training as medical specialists, junior officers and snipers. The training will take place in Norway this spring and will continue throughout 2023. Norway will continue to support #Ukraine as long as necessary. https://t.co/B6OHaSax4X
