Most of the year this reserve is actually a closed territory. There’s no one there except guards, and there are places with no reception or internet.
Thanks to satellite images, we managed to identify a few areas where we can see minimal changes in the past few months.

1. Ulasy is an abandoned village in the Khoiniki district just 4,5 km from the border with Ukraine. Satellite images show that trodden paths have appeared there, roads have been slightly cleared for passing, and bushes have been probably cut down in the past few months.

This village is in the middle of nowhere, and there is simply no one there to report a possible launch. The distance to the nearest residential village Dvor-Savichy (Brahin district) is almost 20 km.
