A street in Khmelnitsky (Ukraine) was named after a fallen Belarusian volunteer Aliaksei Skoblia with the call sign Tur.
Tur died in the battles near Bucha and Hostomel, when he was covering the retreat of his group.

A document allegedly announcing mobilization in the Armed Forces of Belarus is being spread on the Internet, but its authenticity is questionable.
The document reportedly comes to persons liable for military service in the Rechitsa and Loyeu districts of Gomel region.

The text says that persons liable for military service from these districts must come to conscription offices, and those who haven’t received summons are allegedly prohibited to leave the districts.

As for the summons, residents of Gomel, Mazyr, Rechitsa, Kalinkavichy, Aktsiabrsk, Brahin, Svetlahorsk, Khoiniki and Loyeu districts indeed receive them. In particular, it’s known that summons are sent to the employees of Belorusneft in Rechitsa.

In most cases, the date they must come is June 29 or 30.
But the document spread on the internet is very questionable. First of all, there is no decree number, no date, no surname and initials of the head of the commissariat who was supposed to sign the document.

Second, it’s not written in a proper form. Even if we assume that this is a copy of the document, the initials and rank of the head of the commissariat must be indicated in the document.

Also, if we are talking about mobilization, then the document must necessarily contain a reference to the number of the decree which introduced this mobilization, but there is nothing there either.

We receive reports from people who have already visited conscription offices with these summonses and were told, “Thank you all for coming. We will call you if anything happens, and right now these are just exercises. Goodbye.”
