Lithuania handed over heavy mortars to Ukraine, the country's Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas said.
"I will not name the number, but we have handed over many," Anušauskas continued.

Visits to forests in the southern area of Belarus have been prohibited for almost a month. On March 29, the Ministry of Forestry reported that bans are temporary and are introduced by decisions of local executive committees. The reason was a “tense fire-dangerous situation.”

It is notable that at the end of March, the ban was in force in 11 districts, and as of today (21.04) it has already been imposed in 13 districts of Belarus: Ivanava, Pinsk, Stolin, Lelchytsy, Yelsk, Naroulya, Brahin, Hoiniki, Loyeu, Gomel, Mazyr, Kalinkavichy and Rechitsa.

We note that the bans and restrictions are in effect only in the south of the country, almost in all the border areas with Ukraine, where Russian troops and equipment have been based and partially remain for more than 2 months.

If we look at the precipitation map published by the Nadvorye telegram channel, it is clear that only 4-38 mm of precipitation have fallen in the last 2 days in the areas where the bans are in effect. Note: 1 mm is a layer of water of 1 liter per square meter.

That is, 34 liters of precipitation per square meter have fallen only in Gomel, where there’s a total ban even on the entrance to forests and movement by car. Ministry of Forestry, isn’t it enough to put out forest fires, untypical for a cold and rainy April?

Or maybe the reason is that there is trash, weapons, mines, ammunition and equipment of the Russian Armed Forces in the forests? Flyers demanding to bring found weapons under threat of criminal liability appeared for some reason in Gomel region.
