An effective operation demonstrating what a skilled drone operator is capable of: clearing a building of Russian infantry from the inside without putting an entire unit of our own soldiers at risk.

Thanks to the outstanding team of SOF drone operators for sharing their work — together, we always supported them and will continue to do so on a regular basis.

The Special Operations Forces of Ukraine claim that their operator managed to shoot down a Russian Mil Mi-8 helicopter with an FP-1 long-range OWA-UAV over Russia's Rostov Oblast.

In the footage, the Ukrainian strike drone can be seen approaching the Mil Mi-8 from behind, although no actual impact is visible.

If confirmed, that would constitute the first known case of a Russian aviation asset being downed with a ground-attack UAV.

Just when we thought we had already seen everything, like FPV drones taking down Russian helicopters, the Ukrainian SOF have taken it even further.

For the first time in history, a Russian military Mi-8 helicopter has been shot down by a guided deep-strike drone FP-1. 200km from the frontline, Kuteinikovo Rostov region of Russia.
